To get the most out of a fitness elastic band, you can use it in different ways. This article will provide you with some tips and tricks. First, you should anchor the band at chest height. Then, place one foot in front of the other while holding the handles of the band with bent elbows. Now, thrust your hands out in front of you while standing, and let your elbows straighten. Repeat this exercise ten times.
You can also use the band for plank exercises, which is very popular among fitness enthusiasts. In this exercise, you bend over at the hips and knees, keeping your back straight. Next, grasp the handles of the band on either side and contract your elbows to reach your waist. You should feel your shoulder blades coming together as you do this exercise. Ultimately, you should be able to feel the exercise band work your thighs, arms, and core muscles.
 
You should also make sure that you stretch the fitness elastic band properly. Do not overextend it as this increases the risk of breaking it. Avoid stretching it more than two-and-a-half times its length. You should also check it for frays and tears prior to beginning your workout. Finally, after using your fitness elastic band, you should wash and dry the handles after each workout. Rubber bands are very prone to expanding and growing bacteria. It is also important to store it in a dry and cool place.
