The resistance band is an easy-to-carry, simple-to-use, and very effective small physical training tool. The color distinction of resistance bands
For convenience, most resistance band manufacturers will adhere to a similar color system, which is a light-to-dark color scheme. As formulated, the amount of resistance is color dependent. Yellow Resistance Bands

Green and Red Resistance Bands
They usually provide light to medium tension. They are used for high-repetition (15 or more reps) movements. Many people like to use red resistance bands to train muscles such as the biceps, triceps, and shoulders.
Dark blue (sometimes green) Resistance Bands
These are heavy tension resistance bands. This level of resistance is useful for training compound muscle movements. You can use them for bench presses, squats, lunges, shoulder presses, rows, and push-ups.
Purple, black, and dark gray Resistance Bands
These indicate a very high level of tension and are suitable for advanced trainees. These are ideal for developing great strength and building muscle mass. Use these bands for basic compound movements such as deadlifts, squats, etc… You can also use them for heavy shoulder presses or other exercises.
In short, if you are new to exercise, then you are suited for yellow resistance bands. If you work out regularly, then you are suitable for the green and red medium-intensity bands. If you want to increase muscle size, then purple or black high-intensity bands are for you.
